Society for the Study of Symbolic Interaction Annual Meeting

Society for the Study of Symbolic Interactionism (SSSI) - "[A]n international social science professional organization of scholars interested in qualitative, especially interactionist, research. The society has its annual meetings in conjunction with the ASA annual meetings. SSSI also organizes panels and sessions at annual conferences such as the American Sociological Association, Pacific Sociological Association and the Midwest Sociology Society Annual Meetings, and each spring holds the Couch-Stone SSSI Symposium."
Symbolic Interaction - "As the main voice of the Symbolic Interactionist perspective, Symbolic Interaction brings you articles which showcase empirical research and theoretical development that resound throughout the fields of sociology, social psychology, communication, education, nursing, organizations, mass media, and others."
Narrative Inquiry - "Narrative Inquiry is devoted to providing a forum for theoretical, empirical, and methodological work on narrative. Articles appearing in Narrative Inquiry draw upon a variety of approaches and methodologies in the study of narrative as a way to give contour to experience and life, conceptualize and preserve memories, or hand down experience, tradition, and values to future generations. The Qualitative Report - The Qualitative Report is a peer-reviewed, on-line bi-monthly journal devoted to writing and discussion of and about qualitative, critical, action, and collaborative inquiry and research. The Qualitative Report, the oldest multidisciplinary qualitative research journal in the world, serves as a forum and sounding board for researchers, scholars, practitioners, and other reflective-minded individuals who are passionate about ideas, methods, and analyses permeating qualitative, action, collaborative, and critical study. The American Sociologist - "The American Sociologist publishes papers, comments, and other writings on topics of professional and disciplinary concern to sociologists. The Journal for the Theory of Social Behavior - "The Journal for the Theory of Social Behaviour publishes original theoretical and methodological articles that examine the links between social structures and human agency embedded in behavioural practices. Qualitative Research in Sport, Exercise, and Health - "Qualitative Research in Sport, Exercise and Health is a landmark publication – it is the first international journal solely dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of qualitative research in the sport, exercise, and health sciences.
