  • Society for the Study of Symbolic Interactionism (SSSI) - "[A]n international social science professional organization of scholars interested in qualitative, especially interactionist, research. The society has its annual meetings in conjunction with the ASA annual meetings. SSSI also organizes panels and sessions at annual conferences such as the American Sociological Association, Pacific Sociological Association and the Midwest Sociology Society Annual Meetings, and each spring holds the Couch-Stone SSSI Symposium."

  • Narrative Inquiry - "Narrative Inquiry is devoted to providing a forum for theoretical, empirical, and methodological work on narrative.   • The American Sociologist - "The American Sociologist publishes papers, comments, and other writings on topics of professional and disciplinary concern to sociologists.
