Location and Venue

The 2024 Qualitative Analysis Conference will be held at Wilfrid Laurier University - Brantford Campus, in Brantford, Ontario.

Located in the heart of southwestern Ontario, Brantford is approximately 100km from each of Toronto, London, and Niagara Falls.  The largest major airport is Toronto Pearson (100km), with connections across Canada and around the world.  John C. Munro Airport in Hamilton, Ontario is a hub for low-cost carriers and is located 35 km east of Brantford.

Brantford is also served by VIA Rail from Toronto Union Station and GO bus service out of Toronto and Hamilton.  The VIA rail station is less than 1km from the sessions venue and 7.5km from the hotel.  The GO Bus Terminal is one block from the university campus, and about 8km from the hotel.

To get from the Toronto Airport to Brantford, there are multiple options including private shuttle/car service and transit via train (Union-Pearson Express to Toronto Union Station, then GO or VIA service to Brantford).  Car rentals may be an option for some participants. There is a large public parking garage near to the university campus ($2.50/hour, $15.00 daily rate).

Conference sessions will take place at the Wilfrid Laurier University - Brantford Campus in downtown Brantford, Ontario.  The campus is located near the Brantford Bus Terminal which serves both Brantford Transit and as the GO Bus hub connecting to Toronto and Hamilton.

In order to receive the guaranteed conference rate at our venue, hotel bookings must be made by Sunday, May 26, 2024.

The easiest way to travel between the hotel and downtown Brantford is with Brantford Transit, on Route NWIA or Route 8 during the day and Route 11 between 9pm and midnight.  Fares are $3.00 for a one-way cash trip, or a 10-ride pass for $24.50.  A taxi fare would be approximately $30 for this trip.
