Conference Venue

Sessions of the 36th Annual Qualitative Analysis Conference, hosted by the University of New Brunswick, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Fredericton-Lord Beaverbook Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick, from May 9 to 11, 2019.

Accommodation

In order to receive the guaranteed conference rate at our venue, hotel bookings must be made by April 10, 2019.

A block of rooms is available at the conference site, the Crowne Plaza Fredericton-Lord Beaverbrook Hotel, at a special conference rate. University of New Brunswick Residences also has a block of rooms available for participants of the conference. They can be contacted by email at stay@unb.ca or by phone at 506-447-3227. Note that these rooms are approximately a 20-30 minute walk from the conference venue.

Travel Information

Fredericton is served by the Fredericton International Airport (YFC). The airport is serviced by regular flights to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Halifax with Air Canada, to Toronto with WestJet, and to Ottawa with Porter Airlines. Both airlines connect to hundreds of cities across North America and the world from these hubs.

Ground transportation from the airport to downtown Fredericton is provided by taxi at a cost of approximately $25 (Canadian Dollars) one-way. More details about airport ground transportation is available on the Fredericton Airport website here, www.frederictonairport.ca.

For those traveling by car, Fredericton is located along the Trans Canada Highway (Highway 2) in central New Brunswick.

From the US: Fredericton is approx. 1h20m from the US-Canada border at Houlton, Maine - the end of Interstate 95.
